NO. 640-C Transverse Core Strength Accessory
Used with the No. 405 series Universal Sand Strength Machine to test cross-bending strength of baked cores. It measures the transverse strength of 1 x 1 x 8-in. (25.4 x 25.4 x 203.2 mm) cores loaded on 6-in. (152.4 mm) centers. Includes 10 drying plates, core box assembly with rammer plunger, core box support and load support posts.
