An RS 232 interface is provided on the rear of the unit so that it may be linked directly to a customer supplied computer or printer, thus eliminating the need to manually record data, and further reducing the chance of operator error. An optional interfacing software package can be provided separately for transferring the data into any commercially available software packages that accept an ASCII file. This allows importation of the data into word processing programs for generation of reports, spreadsheets for recording and charting data, and statistical programs for statistical analysis and charting of the data.
