NO. 363 Heated Shell Curing Accessory
For curing tensile and transverse shell specimens. Unit consists of two plates, each equipped with two internal heating units and a thermostat for control. Used with No. 362 Shell Tensile Accessory (top photo) and No. 642 Shell Transverse Accessory (lower photo). May be used with No. 642 or 642-P Shell Transverse Pattern (for hot distortion specimens). Multiple-specimen mold is placed on bottom heating plate and filled with sand. After strike-off, second heater plate is placed over mold and specimens are cured at a controlled temperature. Includes base pallet and magnetic thermometer. Does not include patterns or hopper-strike off.
